GUI Blog Hop!! Featuring Crappy Day.

This is my first GUI Blog Hop and I'm excited!! I love the design team blog hops and I'm excited to participate in a blog hop for the GUI gals. It's so fun to see what everyone is creating! As always, thanks to Unity Stamp Co. for creating wonderful stamps and providing a fun community for their customers and encouraging us to share our creations with you!

Today I am featuring two silly cards made with one of my favorite Itty Bitty's: Crappy Day.

This is such a fun set and I like to use it when I want to send a card that will make someone chuckle.

I used watercolors to highlight and add a few spots of brightness to the images. I found a cute patterned paper that matched the theme perfectly.

This one will be perfect for a friend who had a rough day and needs a laugh.

I hope you enjoyed my cards this week! Leave and comment and continue hopping for more Unity-inspired creations... and don't forget to comment on all the posts for a chance to win a Unity prize package!

Thanks for visiting!!!

Only one week late...

I am terrible at keeping up with a blogging schedule, but I'm happy that I'm only a few days late with this one. It's a start!

This week I continue showing off my love for Unity Stamp Co. with another card featuring the lovely mushroom stamp from the A Chance to Change KOM:

I used distress inks to watercolor this card and instead of adding the sentiment to the outside, I went the traditional card route and put the sentiment on the inside:

I tend to mix and match my stamps, so the sentiment is from the Woodland Fox kit -- and while I have lots of plans for the critter, I haven't used it yet. Maybe next week!

I submitted my last card to the Unity Show & Tell watercolor challenge but I might submit this one, too. I'm discovering that I really enjoy watercoloring and the distress inks are a fantastic medium to use with my watercolor pen.

Until next time! <3
